Your donations help close the gap between the limited funding WCS receives from the state and the actual costs required to provide our students with exemplary programs, an extraordinary staff and the outstanding education they receive each day. With state funding flat this year, and in the midst of a pandemic, your contributions are more crucial than ever to maintain that high level of education.
WCS is preparing for all learning models, and in turn, encountering more financial demands than ever. To best meet the needs of our children under the distance learning and hybrid models, the school has been working diligently to: purchase new computer hardware, upgrade its technology systems and programs, and improve connectivity for its students and staff. As a result of the new classroom distancing regulations, teachers will need more resources than ever before as they prepare for the return of students to campus and the classrooms. As you can see, outfitting an entire student body and campus for these new learning models comes at a high cost. The school will receive some federal funding to offset these expenses, but it will be limited. That’s where we come in!
Our PCF contributions must evolve with the changing needs of the school. The financial commitment of the WCS families is essential. If you care to contribute more or less than the amounts listed below, we will gladly accept any amount you choose to gift. Corporate Matching Gifts are an easy way to contribute to your child’s education. Most companies designate funds to donate each year. All you have to do is ask your employer about your company’s Gift Matching procedures.
